At Wheelhouse Cycling Tours, our mission is to deliver cycling experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Founded in Calgary, The Wheelhouse was created to offer boutique brands and custom builds to passionate cyclists. Our tours were born from a desire to foster authentic connections—between riders, local cultures, and the world’s most legendary cycling brands. Unlike conventional tours, we emphasize community, exceptional cuisine prepared by private chefs, and genuine camaraderie. Every detail of our tours is designed to create lasting memories, encourage personal growth, and celebrate the true spirit of cycling.
Legal Disclaimer & Release of Liability (for all participants):
By registering for and participating in any Wheelhouse Cycling Tours event (“Tour”), you (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
  1. Assumption of Risk:
    Participation in cycling tours involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, accidents, physical exertion, unpredictable weather, road conditions, and interactions with third parties. By joining a Tour, Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with cycling and travel, and acknowledges that Wheelhouse Cycling Tours, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates (“Company”) cannot guarantee the elimination of such risks.
  2. Release of Liability:
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges the Company from all liability for any injury, loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from participation in the Tour, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
  3. Medical Fitness & Insurance:
    Participant affirms that they are physically fit and capable of participating in the Tour. It is Participant’s responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice and secure adequate travel and medical insurance coverage for the duration of the Tour.
  4. Personal Responsibility:
    Participant agrees to abide by all safety instructions, local laws, and cycling regulations. The Company reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any Participant whose conduct is deemed unsafe or detrimental to the group experience.
  5. Photography & Media Release:
    Participant grants the Company permission to use photographs, video, or other media captured during the Tour for promotional and commercial purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  6. Acknowledgment:
    By registering for the Tour, Participant affirms that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accept all terms of this Disclaimer and Release of Liability.
